How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear frontal or three-quarter shot with decent lighting. Our system runs an AI generation pass that maps the teacher's face and expression into the classroom portrait scene, matching skin tone, approximate age, and facial structure. That's the part that sounds simple but actually takes several attempts internally: we discard about 1 in 12 generations because the face placement or proportions are off in ways that would be obvious to anyone who knows the person. Once a generation passes that internal check, one of our human artists does a refinement pass — adjusting color grading, cleaning up edge artifacts around the face, and making sure the final image doesn't have that telltale AI flatness in the eyes. Then it goes to print on a museum-grade canvas with a hardwood stretcher frame. Our head of production, Maya Chen, has a rule she enforces pretty strictly: if you'd hesitate to show it to the person's spouse, it doesn't ship.
