At PortraitGift.com, operated by PortraitGift LLC, we take pride in creating custom artwork designed specifically for you. Since our products are personalized, our return and refund policy is tailored to ensure fairness while maintaining the value of our creations. This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

Personalized & Made-to-Order Goods. Every item we produce is custom-made to your specifications from the photos and options you provide. Because of this, our products are exempt from the standard "cooling-off" / change-of-mind return rights that apply to non-personalized goods under many consumer-protection regimes (including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations). By approving your preview and completing checkout, you acknowledge that production begins immediately and that the order generally cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded for change of mind. Your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged, or not-as-described goods are unaffected.

Digital Pictures

No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for digital pictures as we provide you with a preview before purchase.

Approval Required: The preview ensures you are satisfied with your purchase before finalizing the order.

Digital Downloads — 30-Day Availability

Please download your digital files within 30 days of your order. After this period, the files may be fully and permanently deleted from our servers.

How to Request a Refund or Replacement

To request a refund or replacement, please follow these steps:

  3. Investigation: Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

30 Days to Report Issues

You have 30 days from the delivery date to report any issues with your order. This includes damages, production errors, or any other problems affecting the quality of your product. Claims made after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

Additional Refund & Return Information

At PortraitGift.com, every artwork is custom-made based on the photo and options you provide. Because each piece is personalized, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges if you ordered the wrong size, selected the wrong style, or simply changed your mind.

However, if your artwork arrives damaged or there is a production error, we are happy to offer a free replacement or a refund if you contact us within 30 days of delivery. Please reach out to our team using the Contact Us form and include clear photos that show the issue. You do not need to return the damaged item.

Important: Refunds are issued back to your original payment method. If your purchase was made in a currency other than USD, please be aware that currency conversion rates at the time of refund may apply.

If an issue affects multiple items in the same order (for example, multiple canvases using the same design), we may ask for an additional photo or a short video showing all affected pieces together for confirmation.

Please note that PortraitGift.com is not responsible for mistakes made during ordering, such as selecting the wrong size or submitting a poor-quality photo. Additionally, small variations in image placement or minor differences due to the handmade nature of the product are normal and are not considered defects.

AI-Generated Artwork & Artistic Interpretation

Our previews and artwork are created using artificial intelligence and image-processing technologies combined with artistic interpretation. AI-generated outputs are stylized renderings and may differ from your source photographs; they may contain minor variations, and similar results may be produced for other customers. Because you review and approve a preview before purchase, dissatisfaction with the artistic style, the degree of resemblance, or the AI interpretation of an approved preview is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have any issue with your order, please contact us first at contact@portraitgift.com so we can make it right. You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter. Filing a chargeback for a completed, delivered, or approved personalized order — instead of contacting us — may be treated as a fraudulent dispute, may result in suspension of access to our services, and may be reported to the relevant payment networks and authorities, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
