"Bridgerton-style couple portrait for my wife's birthday. She's a hardcore fan of the show. The background detail is silly β you can see the candle flames. Not exaggerating, she teared up."

"I got this Game of Thrones-style portrait as a surprise gift for my husband, and he was blown away! The likeness, the details, the whole epic vibe β it was like seeing him as a true king of Westeros. The quality is amazing, and it arrived quickly and ready to hang. He said it's one of the coolest gifts he's ever received. Totally worth it for any GOT fan!"

"Let's just sayβ¦ this portrait perfectly captures our relationship dynamics. I'm the fierce Viking, of course β noble, brave, beard goals. And my wife? Well, she insisted on being the Devil. Horns, smirk, fiery eyes β it's uncomfortably accurate. The quality is amazing, the frame is solid pinewood, and it came ready to hang right above our bedβ¦ because nothing says romance like a Viking and his demonic queen staring into your soul every night. 10/10, would get possessed again."

"βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Absolutely obsessed with our Bridgerton-inspired couple portrait! It's like we stepped straight into a Regency romance β I've never seen us look so elegant and dramatic. The detailing on the costumes is stunning, the expressions are spot on, and the soft background gives it that perfect vintage vibe. It arrived quickly, beautifully printed, and ready to hang. We've already had friends ask where they can get one! Total romantic dream come true."

TL;DR: A one-of-a-kind canvas portrait made from your uploaded photo, styled to honor a child's baptism day. Best for grandparents, godparents, and parents who want a keepsake that actually means something β not another generic baby gift from a registry.
Every portrait starts with your actual photo β the face is never stock, never reused, never sold to anyone else.
In 2025 we fulfilled 1,247 baptism and christening portrait orders, making it one of our steadiest religious-category products year over year.
We reject roughly 1 in 12 AI-generated face renderings before an artist ever touches the file β because a slightly-off likeness on a sacred portrait is worse than starting over.
Museum-quality canvas with archival inks means the colors won't fade on a nursery or hallway wall the way inkjet prints do after a few years.
A 60-day satisfaction guarantee covers the portrait β if it doesn't look like your child, we fix it or refund it, full stop.
Who it's for (and who it isn't)
The most common buyer we see for this portrait is a grandparent or godparent β someone who flew in for the baptism, took a hundred phone photos, and now wants something that isn't just sitting in a camera roll. They're usually 50β70, they already have a wall in the house they're proud of, and they want to put this child on it. A 16Γ20 looks right in a living room. They're not particularly tech-savvy, but they've managed to upload a photo before, and that's genuinely all they need to do here.
The second buyer is a parent who wants a gift for the grandparents β a baptism day portrait as a thank-you to whoever hosted or traveled. We see a lot of those orders come through in the two or three weeks after the ceremony, when the parent is finally sitting down and thinking, "I should have gotten them something." This portrait works well for that exact delayed-gift moment.
Honest note on who this isn't for: if the photo you have is blurry, dark, or taken from 20 feet away during the ceremony, this portrait is going to be a struggle. We'll always tell you upfront if the source image won't render well β but we'd rather set that expectation now. The closer, clearer, and better-lit the photo, the better the final canvas. Group shots where the baby is small in the frame rarely work.
How it's made
You upload a photo, we run it through our proprietary styling pipeline where the face is mapped and placed into the baptism-themed composition β soft lighting, ceremonial whites, a painterly quality that reads "sacred" without being kitsch. From there, and this is the part most portrait shops skip, a human artist reviews the output. We discard about 1 in 12 generations at that stage because the face didn't lock correctly, the eyes are slightly off, or the skin tone drifted. Our head of production, Maya Chen, has a rule: "If I'd be embarrassed to hand it to the parent at the church door, it doesn't ship." Once the artist approves the composition, it's printed on museum-grade stretched canvas using archival inks, hand-inspected, and packaged for shipping. The whole process β from order to canvas leaving our facility β runs 3β5 business days before shipping transit even begins.
What makes this different
Generic christening gifts β silver frames, engraved keepsake boxes, name blankets β are fine. But they don't have the child's face in them. That's the whole difference. This portrait is one-of-one: the likeness is your specific child on their specific baptism day, rendered in a style that looks like it belongs in a frame above the fireplace, not in a Target gift bag. We also retire or refresh baptism compositions every six months so the portrait doesn't end up looking like a template that ten other families in your congregation ordered. What arrives is genuinely personal in a way that a stock canvas print β even a beautiful one β simply can't be.

Of our 50,000+ orders since 2022, 1,247 were baptism or christening portraits in 2025 alone β making religious milestone portraits one of our three most consistent year-over-year categories. PortraitGift internal order data, 2025β2026
Personalized gifts account for approximately 30% of all gifting spend in the US, with religious milestone occasions (baptisms, first communions, confirmations) representing a growing share of that category. IBIS World Gift Stores Industry Report, 2024
Baptism portraits are one of the few categories where I'll personally hold an order if the face rendering is even slightly ambiguous β we rejected 94 of them in 2025 before they ever reached the artist queue, because a sacred milestone portrait that looks 'close enough' is actually worse than no portrait at all.
What customers say
Theresa M. Β· Columbus, OH Β· β β β β β
I ordered this about three weeks after my granddaughter's baptism β I kept putting it off and finally just did it. The photo I used wasn't even from the ceremony; it was one my daughter took at home the same weekend. The portrait came out so much better than I expected. It's hanging in my living room now and everyone who visits asks about it. Took maybe 6 days total from order to my door.
Patrick S. Β· Dublin, Ireland Β· β β β β β
Bought this as a gift for my sister after her son's christening. Shipping to Ireland took about 11 days which I thought was fine. My only note β and the team was honest about this upfront β is that my first photo submission was too dark from the church lighting and they flagged it before printing. I sent a better one and the final portrait was lovely. Good process, good communication.
Carla D. Β· San Antonio, TX Β· β β β β β
Got this as a gift from my husband for our son's baptism and genuinely cried when I opened it. We used a photo from the reception, not the actual ceremony, and it worked perfectly. The canvas quality feels substantial β not flimsy at all. Already planning to order one for my sister's upcoming baptism next spring.
Care and shipping
US orders ship in 5β7 business days from order confirmation; EU and international customers are looking at 7β14 business days depending on customs. Canvas arrives rolled in a protective tube or flat-packed depending on size β we switched to reinforced flat packaging for anything under 16Γ20 in early 2024 after a run of corner-damage complaints, and damage reports dropped noticeably. Hang away from direct sunlight if you can; archival inks hold well, but sustained UV exposure over years is still UV exposure. If anything about the portrait is wrong β wrong face, color way off, canvas damaged in transit β contact us within 60 days and we'll reprint or refund. No restocking fees, no "store credit only" runaround.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of photo works best for a baptism portrait?A clear, well-lit photo where the child's face is facing the camera β or close to it. Ceremony shots are usually tricky because the baby is in someone's arms, partially turned, and the church lighting is dim. If that's all you have, send it anyway; we'll tell you honestly whether it'll render well before we process payment. A posed photo taken the same day, or even a good recent photo from home, usually gives us more to work with.My photo was taken during the ceremony and the lighting is pretty bad. Can you still do it?Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Low-light photos lose detail in the face, and when we try to render those, the likeness suffers β which defeats the whole point. We'd rather tell you upfront than deliver something that looks generic. Upload it and our team will flag any issues before your order is finalized. If it's genuinely unusable, we'll say so.How long until I can see a preview of the portrait?Typically within 24β48 hours of submitting your photo. We'll send a digital preview to your email for approval before anything goes to print. You can request one round of revisions at that stage β color adjustments, minor composition tweaks. What we can't change in revision is the base photo quality; that's set at the source. Can I include more than one person in the portrait β like the baby with a parent or godparent?Yes, though multi-person baptism portraits need a clear photo of each face separately, or a group shot where everyone's face is visible and reasonably in focus. The more faces, the more complex the generation, and we do see a higher rejection rate on those internally. It's doable β just set the expectation that it may take an extra day and one more round of artist review. What if I'm not happy with how the portrait looks?Tell us within 60 days. If the likeness is off, we'll reprint. If it's just not what you imagined and the source photo was solid, we'll work with you on a solution β whether that's a redo with adjusted styling or a refund. We've shipped over 50,000 orders; the vast majority go smoothly, but when they don't, we fix it.Is this portrait a good gift if the baptism already happened a few weeks ago?Honestly, most orders come in after the fact β parents and godparents are usually too busy on the day itself to think about gifts. A baptism portrait ordered two or three weeks later is completely normal, and the recipients don't care. If anything, it gives you time to pick the right photo instead of rushing.Do you ship internationally?Yes. EU delivery runs 7β14 business days. Other international destinations vary β Canada is usually similar to the US, Australia tends toward the longer end. Customs delays are outside our control, but we've rarely seen orders stuck more than a few extra days. Can I order this as a last-minute gift?If you need it in under a week in the US, it's tight but possible depending on when you order in the week. We don't offer guaranteed rush printing as a paid add-on right now β that's a gap we know about. For truly last-minute needs, we can email you a high-resolution digital version first while the canvas ships separately.
This one goes on the wall. Not in a drawer, not in a box β on the wall, where it gets seen every day. Upload your photo and we'll show you what it looks like before anything prints.
Have a different occasion in mind? We make custom portraits for first communions, anniversaries, retirements, and more β same process, different themes.
