The AI part handles the initial placement and lighting match; the human part is what makes the expression look right instead of uncanny. Honestly, we discard roughly 1 in 12 generations at the review stage because the face lock is off — eyes too flat, jaw too wide — and we redo those before they ever reach the proofing queue.
