I haven't received my digital order yet?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at contact@portraitgift.com with your name and checkout email.

It may have been sent to the email linked to your PayPal or card provider (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe).
Can you change the hairstyle / eye color / etc?
Yes! Add your request in the custom note at checkout. Our artists will personalize your artwork within 24 business hours.

You can request unlimited revisions until you're happy with the result.
What are the production times?
• Canvas: printed, stretched and quality-checked in 6–8 business days after you order, then tracked shipping (3–5 business days in the US, 5–10 international), free
• Poster: printed in 6–8 business days, then the same tracked shipping
• Digital (no notes): instant download right after payment
• Digital with custom notes: you will receive the standard version instantly, then the edited version with your custom requests will be emailed within 24 business hours by our artists

Production starts once we receive your photo and payment.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, but please note: P.O. Box orders can only ship via USPS standard service — there is no faster/expedited option for P.O. Boxes. This means delivery takes longer than usual, and tracking can be slow or show limited updates between hand-off and delivery.

For larger canvas sizes (L & XL) we'll need a physical street address, as these can't be delivered to a P.O. Box. Whenever possible, please use a street address at checkout for the fastest, fully-tracked delivery.

Rekindle Nostalgia on a Vintage Storefront

Step through the doors of a bygone era with The General Store portrait, where every plank of wood and vintage sign paints a story of familial pride and dedication. This isn't just a picture; it's a portal to the warmth of a simpler time, ideal for marking life's milestones.

Designed to capture the essence of your family business, this piece transforms any photo into a cherished heirloom, evoking the charm of the days when every handshake sealed a deal, and the porch was the heart of the community.

TL;DR: Transform a family photo into a nostalgic General Store portrait, perfect as a heartfelt gift for anniversaries, birthdays, or retirements.

Who benefits from a General Store portrait?

This portrait beautifully commemorates families who take pride in their small business legacy, especially those who appreciate the charm of vintage Americana. Ideal for parents celebrating milestone anniversaries, retirees reminiscing their business journey, or anyone marking a special birthday. Not the best fit for those seeking a sleek and modern visage.

How do we craft your family legacy?

Start by uploading your cherished family photo. Our system generates a free preview that captures the essence of your photo within a general store setting. Review and provide feedback before finalizing your order. No payment details required to create your preview.

Why choose this over other family portraits?

This portrait stands out by placing your family in a cozy, nostalgic general store backdrop. The warmth and texture of the scene makes it more than a portrait — it's a story of legacy and community. Unlike others, it invites viewers into the everyday life of a close-knit family enterprise.
