How it's made

You upload your photo — ideally a clear shot, decent daylight, faces visible — and our system runs it through a custom-trained AI model that isolates each face and maps it into the NewHome scene: family posed in front of a painted illustration of a home exterior, warm and slightly painterly in style. From there, a human artist reviews the output for likeness accuracy, color grading, and composition. We discard about 1 in 12 generations at this stage because the face doesn't lock — something's slightly asymmetric, or the lighting mismatch is too obvious. The approved file gets sent to production, where it's printed on 400gsm museum-grade canvas with a UV-protective matte coating, stretched over a 1.5-inch pine frame, and inspected before packing. Maya Chen, our head of production, has a standing rule: if she wouldn't hang it in her own home, it doesn't ship. That sounds like something a company would just say, but it's the reason our rejection-before-shipping rate is higher than our competitors'.

US orders ship in 5–7 business days from our production facility; EU and UK customers should expect 7–14 business days depending on customs. The canvas is UV-coated and doesn't need glass, but keep it out of direct sunlight for extended periods — fading is slow but real over years of direct exposure. Hang with the included hardware; the frame is sturdy enough that you don't need a specialist. If you're not satisfied for any reason within 60 days of delivery, we'll reprint or refund — no interrogation, no restocking fee.
