How it's made

You upload a photo — one clear shot where faces are visible, ideally daylight, looking roughly toward the camera. From there, our system generates multiple candidate compositions, blending your family's faces onto the pirate scene using a combination of AI face-compositing and hand-refinement by our portrait artists. Here's the part most brands don't mention: we discard about 1 in 12 of those initial generations internally, because sometimes the face anchor just doesn't lock right — the angle is off, or a child's proportions look slightly distorted. Those get flagged and regenerated before an artist ever touches them.
