Who it's for (and who it isn't)

New parents, obviously — but the people actually buying this are more often grandparents and close friends who want to give something that won't end up in a donation bin by the time the baby turns two. We see a lot of orders from grandmothers in their 50s and 60s who want something frameable for the nursery wall, something that says this child is cherished without being generic. How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear shot of the baby's face, decent lighting, not backlit — and our system uses AI-assisted compositing to place that face into the floral bed scene. From there, a human on our production team reviews the output and, if needed, refines the face mapping, adjusts color temperature, and checks that the flower layering around the baby looks natural rather than pasted-on. We reject about 1 in 12 generations at that review step; the most common failure is the face sitting slightly wrong on the body shape, which looks uncanny even to a quick glance. Once it passes review, it's printed on a museum-grade canvas — 400gsm poly-cotton blend — mounted on a pine stretcher frame, and shipped. The whole process from approved order to shipped product runs 2–4 business days on average, not counting transit.

What makes this different

Generic newborn canvas prints — the kind you'd order from a big-box photo lab — are just your photo, cropped and stretched. Nice enough, but not art. The canvas arrives rolled in a protective tube or mounted on the stretcher frame depending on size — we'll note the packaging method in your confirmation email. To care for it: wipe with a dry or very lightly damp cloth, keep it out of direct prolonged sunlight (it fades canvases the same way it fades everything else), and don't hang it in high-humidity rooms like bathrooms. If you're not happy with your portrait for any reason within 60 days of delivery, contact us and we'll fix it or refund it — no lengthy back-and-forth required.
