I haven't received my digital order yet?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at contact@portraitgift.com with your name and checkout email.

It may have been sent to the email linked to your PayPal or card provider (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe).
Can you change the hairstyle / eye color / etc?
Yes! Add your request in the custom note at checkout. Our artists will personalize your artwork within 24 business hours.

You can request unlimited revisions until you're happy with the result.
What are the production times?
• Canvas: printed, stretched and quality-checked in 6–8 business days after you order, then tracked shipping (3–5 business days in the US, 5–10 international), free
• Poster: printed in 6–8 business days, then the same tracked shipping
• Digital (no notes): instant download right after payment
• Digital with custom notes: you will receive the standard version instantly, then the edited version with your custom requests will be emailed within 24 business hours by our artists

Production starts once we receive your photo and payment.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, but please note: P.O. Box orders can only ship via USPS standard service — there is no faster/expedited option for P.O. Boxes. This means delivery takes longer than usual, and tracking can be slow or show limited updates between hand-off and delivery.

For larger canvas sizes (L & XL) we'll need a physical street address, as these can't be delivered to a P.O. Box. Whenever possible, please use a street address at checkout for the fastest, fully-tracked delivery.

Who Should Consider a Ghibli Portrait?

Ghibli Portraits suit families who have shared many a movie night marveling at magical worlds. Ideal for anime enthusiasts and parents who want to pass down the whimsy of Studio Ghibli to their children. Honestly, if you're not into animated tales and vibrant art, this might not click with you.

How Do We Make Your Ghibli Portrait?

From your submitted photo, we craft your family’s likeness into a Ghibli-inspired vision. Initially transformed using AI face-swap technology, we then have artists refine every detail to ensure magical realism. Our head of production, Maya, insists on discarding 1 in 12 initial renderings to keep quality top-notch.

Why Choose This Over a Generic Canvas?

Unlike a generic family canvas, each Ghibli Portrait is a one-of-one masterpiece, uniquely yours and never to be replicated. We retire each theme after 6 months, maintaining a sense of exclusivity and magic that off-the-rack prints simply can't provide.
