I haven't received my digital order yet?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at contact@portraitgift.com with your name and checkout email.

It may have been sent to the email linked to your PayPal or card provider (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe).
Can you change the hairstyle / eye color / etc?
Yes! Add your request in the custom note at checkout. Our artists will personalize your artwork within 24 business hours.

You can request unlimited revisions until you're happy with the result.
What are the production times?
• Canvas: printed, stretched and quality-checked in 6–8 business days after you order, then tracked shipping (3–5 business days in the US, 5–10 international), free
• Poster: printed in 6–8 business days, then the same tracked shipping
• Digital (no notes): instant download right after payment
• Digital with custom notes: you will receive the standard version instantly, then the edited version with your custom requests will be emailed within 24 business hours by our artists

Production starts once we receive your photo and payment.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, but please note: P.O. Box orders can only ship via USPS standard service — there is no faster/expedited option for P.O. Boxes. This means delivery takes longer than usual, and tracking can be slow or show limited updates between hand-off and delivery.

For larger canvas sizes (L & XL) we'll need a physical street address, as these can't be delivered to a P.O. Box. Whenever possible, please use a street address at checkout for the fastest, fully-tracked delivery.

Capture Gaming Moments in Retro Style

Remember the days of pixelated adventures, shared laughter, and the iconic moment of passing the controller? Our 'Passing the Controller Dad and Kid Retro Gamer Portrait' brings those cherished memories to life on canvas. It mirrors the vibrant hues and pixel artistry of the golden gaming era, blending them with a personal father-child connection.

Every portrait captures an unmistakable bond, merging gaming nostalgia with family love. Perfect for any dad who's spent afternoons schooling his kid in classic games, this canvas transforms a simple gaming session into an eternal piece of art.

TL;DR: A canvas that captures a dad and child's shared love for retro gaming, perfect for birthdays or Father's Day gifts.

Which family duo celebrates their love for retro gaming?

This portrait is perfect for dads over 30 who've spent weekends introducing their kids to the gaming classics of the '80s and '90s. It's a hit for those who reminisce about the golden era of gaming or share the excitement of vintage gameplay. However, it might not be the best fit for those not into retro aesthetics or gaming culture.

How do we turn a photo into a retro gaming masterpiece?

Just upload a photo capturing that iconic gaming moment—perhaps a father handing the controller to his eager child. We'll create a free personalized preview for you to review. Like what you see? Finalize your order and choose from available formats displayed during checkout.

Why does this Retro Gamer canvas stand out?

What sets our Retro Gamer portrait apart is its faithful attention to period-specific design. Vibrant colors and iconic gaming references transform your uploaded photo into more than a picture—it's a rare blend of personal family history and nostalgic art.
