Who it's for (and who it isn't)

This portrait lands hardest with same-sex couples who've been together long enough to want something on the wall that actually looks like them — not a stock photo couple, not a heteronormative greeting card. We see a lot of orders from partners marking 5- and 10-year anniversaries who are tired of generic jewelry or restaurant dinners. How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear, well-lit shot with both faces visible and not partially cropped. Our system runs it through an AI face-extraction model that isolates each person's features and composites them into the pre-built vintage romance scene. That part's automated, but here's the part most brands don't mention: we discard roughly 1 in 10 generations internally before it ever reaches our artist queue, because the face placement doesn't lock right — expressions go slightly uncanny, or the skin tone mapping drifts. After the generation passes that filter, one of our artists reviews it manually — adjusting tonal balance, softening any AI artifacts around the hairline or jawline, and making sure the vintage color grade sits uniformly across both faces. Our head of production, Maya Chen, has a rule she's enforced since early 2024: if either face looks better in the AI output than it does in real life, something went wrong. The goal is recognition, not idealization. Final file goes to our print partner for archival-grade canvas output — the same substrate used for limited-edition gallery prints.

Canvas arrives rolled in a protective tube or flat-packed depending on size — our production team switched to reinforced flat packaging for anything 16×20 and above after a rough patch of corner damage complaints in Q1 2024. US orders ship in 5–7 business days. EU customers should expect 7–14 days; customs occasionally adds a day or two beyond that, which is outside our control but worth knowing. We cover 60 days of satisfaction from delivery: if the likeness is off, the canvas arrived damaged, or you just hate it, contact us and we'll reprint or refund — no interrogation. One thing Maya's team asks: don't hang the canvas in direct sunlight or above a heat source. The archival inks hold well, but prolonged UV exposure will fade any canvas print over time, and that's not a warranty situation we can fix remotely.
