The scene

The girls’ trip talked about for thirty years and finally taken: a stone terrace above the sea at sunset, lemon trees in terracotta pots, bougainvillea over the pergola, a carafe of rosé and a bowl of lemons on the long table. This Girls’ Trip portrait paints the friends raising their glasses together, in glowing impasto oil. It is drawn for four friends and paints exactly the friends you upload.

TL;DR: An oil painting of two lifelong best friends toasting on a villa terrace above the sea at sunset, painted from your photos: each person keeps their own face and age. Free preview first.

Who it’s for

Three or four friends after the trip they finally took together, for a milestone birthday in the group, or for Christmas: one of them orders, and the digital file can go to all of them.

How it’s made

Upload one photo of the two of you, or a separate photo of each of you, up to six photos (a photo of two to four people brings each of them). An old print works: lay it flat by a window and photograph it straight on with your phone. A free preview appears in minutes, with no payment. If you order, an artist checks the portrait, and nothing is printed until you approve it.

What makes it different

Most best-friend gifts are a name-and-date print or a cartoon of two stick figures. This one paints the two of you, with your own faces, into a scene from the friendship, the way it felt: the porch, the coast road, the Christmas shopping day, the place you met.

Questions fréquentes

Do we need a photo of the two of us together?

No. Upload one photo of the two of you (the page finds each person in it), or a separate photo of each of you. Up to six photos; the painting holds exactly the people you upload.

Can I use an old photo of us?

Yes. Lay the print flat by a window and take a straight photo of it with your phone, with no glare on the faces. Each person is painted at the age they are in the photo, and faded or black-and-white prints come out in warm, natural colour.

Can three friends be in it, or a man and a woman?

Yes. The scene is drawn for two friends, and the painting follows the photos you upload: three friends, or a woman and her oldest friend who is a man, both work. Use photos where every face is clear; the free preview shows each face before you order.

Will it look like a couple portrait?

No. The scenes are painted with the body language of old friends: side by side, laughing, a hand on an arm. If something should be different, write it in the order note: an artist reads every note, and nothing is printed until you approve it.

How many friends can be in it?

The scene is drawn for four, and the painting holds exactly the people you upload: three, four, five or six friends work. Up to four people in one photo are found and painted separately; a photo of five or more stays one photo and can lose someone, so a photo of each friend is safer. Count the faces in the free preview.

Puis-je voir un aperçu avant d’acheter ?

Oui.
