Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, but please note: P.O. Box orders can only ship via USPS standard service — there is no faster/expedited option for P.O. Boxes. This means delivery takes longer than usual, and tracking can be slow or show limited updates between hand-off and delivery.

For larger canvas sizes (L & XL) we'll need a physical street address, as these can't be delivered to a P.O. Box. Whenever possible, please use a street address at checkout for the fastest, fully-tracked delivery.

The scene

The swing set, the bikes dropped in the grass, the sprinkler, watermelon at the picnic table: summers happened in the back yard. This Summers in the Backyard portrait paints the family behind their own house on a late-summer evening, painted from a photo of the house, the back or the front.

TL;DR: An oil painting of the family behind their own house on a late-summer evening, the swing set and the bikes in the grass, painted from your photos: the place from your photo, each person with their own face. Free preview first.

Who it’s for

A couple downsizing after decades in the same house, for the wall of the new, smaller place; grown children when their parents sell, for moving day, the last Christmas in the house, a retirement or a big birthday; or a family keeping the house the way it was before the keys change hands.

How it’s made

Upload a photo of the house on its own, then the family and the dog or cat if you like: at most four photos in all (a photo of two people counts as two). A free preview appears in minutes, with no payment. If you order, an artist checks the portrait, and nothing is printed until you approve it.

What makes it different

A house portrait usually paints the house alone. This one paints the family back in it, with their own faces: on the front steps, around the kitchen table, in the garden, by the tree in its usual corner. The house, the room or the garden comes from your own photo, so it is your place, not a stock one.

Mistä löydän hinnat, tarjoukset, toimitusajat ja palautusehdot?

Nykyiset muodot, koot, hinnat, saatavilla olevat tarjoukset ja arvioidut toimitusajat näkyvät valinnan ja kassalle siirtymisen yhteydessä. Tarkista esikatselu ja valintasi ennen tilaamista. Palautus- ja vaihtoehdot löytyvät palautus- ja hyvityskäytännöstä.

Usein kysytyt kysymykset

Will it really be our house?

That is the point: the painting follows your photo of the house, its shape, roof, brick or siding, windows and shutters, front door and porch, and the trees beside it. The season and the light come from the design. The free preview shows it before you pay, and an artist can adjust a detail before anything is printed.

How many photos can I add?

Up to four photos reach the painting, the place included: a photo of two to four people counts as each of them, one photo of five or more counts as one, and a dog or cat added with “Add pet” counts as one. So the place + a photo of a couple + the dog is four. A bigger family fits best in one group photo of five or more.

Can our dog or cat be in it?

Yes. Add a clear photo of the pet with “Add pet”: it is painted with the family, with its own markings. It counts as one of the four photos.

Can someone who has passed be in it?

Yes. Add a clear photo of them like any other family photo: they are painted with everyone, at the age they are in that photo, and an old or black-and-white photo comes out in colour.

The house is already sold or emptied. Can we still do it?

Yes, as long as you have a photo of it: a phone photo from a visit, the real-estate listing picture, or an old print photographed flat on a table. The painting follows your photo.
