How it's made

You upload a clear, front-facing photo — ideally lit from the front, no heavy shadows across the face. Our system runs it through a generative AI pipeline that composites your face into the Ice Queen scene: the gown, tiara, background palace, and snow detail are pre-built; your facial structure, skin tone, and features are mapped onto the character. That draft goes to a human artist for likeness review. Here's the part we don't advertise much: we reject about 1 in 12 generations at this stage because the face blends wrong — usually when the source photo has strong side-lighting or the subject is wearing glasses in the upload. When that happens, the artist regenerates rather than approving a mediocre output. After approval, the file is sent to print on 380gsm cotton-poly canvas with UV-protective coating. Canvas ships rolled in a protective tube or flat-packed depending on size — we switched to reinforced flat packaging for anything 16×20 and under in early 2025 after a spike in corner-damage complaints during holiday shipping. US orders arrive in 5–7 business days; EU customers should expect 7–14 business days depending on customs clearance, which is outside our control but rarely exceeds the outer estimate. Hang away from direct sunlight and high-humidity rooms (bathrooms are a bad idea for any canvas, not just ours). If your portrait arrives damaged, faded, or just not right for any reason within 60 days of delivery, we reprint. Not store credit — an actual reprint.
