I haven't received my digital order yet?
Please check your spam or promotions folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at contact@portraitgift.com with your name and checkout email.

It may have been sent to the email linked to your PayPal or card provider (Visa/Mastercard via Stripe).
Can you change the hairstyle / eye color / etc?
Yes! Add your request in the custom note at checkout. Our artists will personalize your artwork within 24 business hours.

You can request unlimited revisions until you're happy with the result.
What are the production times?
• Canvas: printed, stretched and quality-checked in 6–8 business days after you order, then tracked shipping (3–5 business days in the US, 5–10 international), free
• Poster: printed in 6–8 business days, then the same tracked shipping
• Digital (no notes): instant download right after payment
• Digital with custom notes: you will receive the standard version instantly, then the edited version with your custom requests will be emailed within 24 business hours by our artists

Production starts once we receive your photo and payment.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Yes, but please note: P.O. Box orders can only ship via USPS standard service — there is no faster/expedited option for P.O. Boxes. This means delivery takes longer than usual, and tracking can be slow or show limited updates between hand-off and delivery.

For larger canvas sizes (L & XL) we'll need a physical street address, as these can't be delivered to a P.O. Box. Whenever possible, please use a street address at checkout for the fastest, fully-tracked delivery.

Capture Timeless Elegance with Dark Academia

Dive deep into the intellectual allure of Dark Academia with our Marble Gallery portraits. Evoking the moodiness of ancient libraries and candle-lit studies, these portraits wrap your memories in rich marbles and shadowy hues.

The perfect mix of enigmatic sophistication, these pieces shine best in studies or dens. They're for those who appreciate the literary, the melancholic, and the profound beauty of academia.

TL;DR: The Marble Gallery Dark Academia Portrait is ideal for introspective souls who cherish scholarly aesthetics. Perfect for anniversaries or special birthdays, this moody canvas gift transforms your photos into art.

Is Dark Academia a Good Fit for Your Style?

Perfect for those drawn to the world of academia, especially graduates or professors with a love for classical themes. If you're looking for a vibrant or playful portrait, you might want to explore other themes like our Sepia Scholar option.

Creating Your Dark Academia Portrait: A Craft?

Your photo undergoes an AI transformation, setting the foundation with a master facial resemblance before our artists refine it with intricate brushstrokes. Not every attempt is perfect; about 1 in 12 face generations are discarded for not meeting our stringent standards.

Why Choose Our Dark Academia Portrait Over Generic Prints?

Unlike mass-produced prints, our Dark Academia portrait offers a truly bespoke experience, capturing your essence against shadowy marbles. We limit theme availability to keep our offerings exclusive and desirable — retiring themes every six months to ensure rarity.

Häufige Fragen

What if the photo quality is low?We recommend high-resolution photos for the best result, but our AI can work with most smartphone images. Low-res images may affect detail.
Can I swap faces later if needed?Unfortunately, once a portrait is in production, changes can't be made. We recommend ensuring your images and details are final before confirmation.
Is this canvas gift suitable for children? While children can appear in our portraits, the Dark Academia theme is geared more towards a mature, scholarly audience.
What if I want a different theme later?Sure! Explore other themes like the Antique Library Portrait to switch things up.
Kann ich vor dem Kauf eine Vorschau sehen?
