Who it's for (and who it isn't)

New parents, obviously — but more specifically, the ones who feel like the standard hospital photos and phone snapshots are going to get buried in a camera roll somewhere. How it's made

You upload your photo — ideally a clear, well-lit shot where faces are visible and not obscured — and our system runs it through an AI face-mapping pass that locks your family's actual features to the portrait style. Then a human artist reviews the output, adjusts skin tone, fixes any weird edge artifacts around the baby (newborn proportions trip up the model more than any other subject; tiny noses, closed eyes, rounded foreheads), and checks that the emotional tone of the piece reads right before it goes to print. We reject roughly 1 in 12 first-pass generations internally — they never reach the preview you see. Once approved, it prints on 400gsm museum-quality canvas with archival inks rated for 75+ years without fading, gets hand-stretched on a solid pine frame, and ships in a protective tube or flat box depending on size. Canvas ships in a rigid protective tube (smaller sizes ship flat-packed) and arrives in 5–7 business days in the US, 7–14 business days to most of Europe. Hanging hardware isn't included but the frame has pre-installed sawtooth hooks on sizes 12×16 and up. Keep the portrait out of direct sunlight and away from high-humidity rooms — the archival inks hold up well but bathrooms aren't a great long-term environment for any canvas.
