How it's made

You upload a clear photo — ideally front-facing, decent lighting, at least 800px wide, though we've salvaged blurrier ones — and our system generates a service portrait composition placing your Marine's face into a formal dress-uniform scene. From there, a human artist reviews the face mapping, adjusts skin tone, expression, and uniform detail to make sure it reads as a portrait and not a deepfake. Once it passes review you get a digital preview for approval, and only after you sign off does it go to print on museum-grade poly-cotton canvas with archival pigment inks. US orders ship in 5–7 business days from approval; EU and UK orders run 7–14 business days depending on customs. We ship worldwide. Canvas arrives rolled in a protective tube or pre-stretched in a reinforced box — we switched to the reinforced box for pre-stretched orders in March 2024 after a stretch of corner-damage complaints, and breakage reports dropped significantly. Keep the canvas out of direct sunlight for extended periods and away from high-humidity rooms like bathrooms. Archival inks hold well, but heat and moisture are the enemy of any canvas long-term.
