How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear, front-facing shot where both faces are unobstructed. Our system runs face-detection and maps your features onto the chosen scene using a fine-tuned image model trained specifically on our Christmas portrait theme. Here's the part most brands skip over: we generate multiple versions of each portrait and discard about 1 in 12 because the face geometry doesn't lock cleanly, the lighting doesn't match the scene, or one person's likeness reads as noticeably weaker than the other's. The ones that pass move to our artist refinement queue, where a human reviews skin tone, shadow detail, and expression — making manual corrections in Photoshop before the file goes to print. US orders ship in 5-7 business days; EU and UK orders run 7-14 days depending on customs clearance — we can't control the customs part, but we've had very few delays beyond 14 days since we switched fulfillment partners in March 2025. Canvas should be kept out of direct, sustained sunlight (a few hours a day is fine; all-day south-facing window exposure will fade any archival print over time). Wipe dust with a dry microfiber cloth — no sprays, no damp rags. If you receive a portrait and something's off — face didn't render cleanly, canvas arrived damaged, size isn't what you expected — our 60-day satisfaction policy covers a reprint or full refund, no lengthy back-and-forth required.
