Oil Painting Portraits

Custom Oil Painting Portraits — Made From Your Photo

What is a custom oil painting portrait?

It is your photo re-rendered as a classical oil painting — the depth, brushwork and lighting of an old-master canvas, built around your own face. It reads like a commissioned portrait that took an artist weeks, printed on thick, gallery-wrapped canvas. No sittings, no studio: you upload one photo and approve a free preview first.

Which oil painting style should you choose?

Pick the era that fits the person. Renaissance portraits for timeless old-master grandeur; royal portraits for crowns, robes and palace backdrops; baroque portraits for dramatic light and gold; Victorian portraits for elegant 19th-century refinement; or gothic portraits for a darker, moody finish. Every one is rendered in a painterly, oil-on-canvas style.

Turn a photo into an oil painting — how it works

Choose a design, upload a clear photo, and our artist re-paints it as an oil portrait in moments. You see an instant, free preview; approve it and we print it on museum-quality canvas and ship it to your door. It is the easiest way to turn a photo into an oil painting without commissioning a painter — and a striking gift for an anniversary, birthday or as a family heirloom.

How much does an oil painting portrait cost?

Custom oil painting portraits start at $35, with the price set by canvas size and how many people share the frame — shown up front on every design. A hand-commissioned oil painting runs hundreds to thousands; this gives you the same hand-finished look for a fraction, with a free preview before you pay.
