You upload a clear photo — ideally a front-facing shot with decent lighting, though we'll work with what we get. From there, our production pipeline runs an AI-assisted face extraction and composites the likeness into the running scene template. That's the automated step, and it's fast. What happens next is where most competitors stop and we don't: a human artist reviews the composite, adjusts color temperature, sharpens the facial details, and checks that the face actually reads as the person in the photo. We reject about 1 in 12 of the initial AI generations because the likeness is off — too symmetrical, wrong jawline, something just doesn't feel right — and we run it again. Once the digital file is approved, it's printed at 1440 DPI on 400gsm cotton-poly canvas, stretched over a 1.5-inch kiln-dried pine frame, and stapled on the back so the sides stay clean. The whole thing usually ships within 3–5 business days of your order.

Canvas is UV-coated at print — dust it with a dry microfiber cloth, avoid direct sunlight for extended periods, and don't hang it in a bathroom where steam is a daily thing (our head of production, Maya Chen, is pretty firm on that last one — moisture warps the frame over time more than anything else).
