How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear face shot, but we'll work with what we get. Our system runs it through a theme-conditioned AI model that builds the scene around your pet's actual face and markings. From there, a real human checks the output: does the snout shape match? Are the eyes reading correctly? Is the fur texture recognizable? We reject about 1 in 12 generations at this stage — they go in the bin, not to your door. The approved render then goes through a final artist refinement pass where color grading, contrast, and any weird artifacts get corrected. The finished file gets printed on 400-gsm artist-grade canvas with UV-resistant inks, stretched over a kiln-dried pine frame, and sealed. US orders ship in 5–7 business days; EU and UK customers should expect 7–14 days. Canvas is UV-resistant and sealed, so direct sunlight won't fade it quickly, but we'd keep it out of bathrooms — humidity warps the frame over time, and that's not a manufacturing defect we can fix on a reprint. Wipe dust with a dry microfiber cloth only. If you receive a portrait and the likeness is off, the colors look nothing like what you saw on screen, or the canvas arrives damaged, contact us within 60 days and we'll reprint it — no interrogation, no return shipping required for damaged items. We've honoured that policy on every valid claim since we launched in 2022.
