How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear, front-facing shot where your pet's eyes are visible and in focus, though we've worked with worse. Our production pipeline runs the face through an AI-assisted compositing layer that extracts the facial geometry and fur/coat texture, then drops it into the Watching Over Us base scene (the soft light, the gentle upward gaze, the muted background). Here's the part we don't hide: we generate multiple variations of that composite and a human reviewer — one of our eight production artists — checks each one for face integrity, texture fidelity, and emotional tone. About 1 in 12 generations gets discarded at that stage because the face drifts or the eyes lose their specificity. The surviving version goes to artist refinement, where hand-editing corrects any remaining artifacts around the ears, muzzle, and eyes. That refined file gets printed with UV-resistant archival inks on a poly-cotton museum-grade canvas, then hand-stretched over a solid pine frame. The whole process takes 2–4 business days before it ships.

US orders ship in 5–7 business days from purchase; EU and UK customers should expect 7–14 business days. The canvas arrives stretched and ready to hang — there's a hanging kit in the box. For care: wipe with a dry or very lightly damp microfiber cloth; no solvents, no direct moisture. Keep it out of direct sunlight long-term if you can — UV-resistant doesn't mean UV-proof forever. If the portrait arrives damaged or the likeness is genuinely off, our 60-day satisfaction policy covers a free reprint or a full refund, no argument.
