How it's made

You upload a photo — ideally a clear, well-lit shot of your newborn's face — and our system runs an AI face-swap into the storybook scene template. That part's fast, but it's not the final product. A human artist then reviews the generation for face lock (meaning the likeness actually reads as your baby, not a generic infant) and adjusts skin tone, shadow placement, and eye detail manually. Honestly, we discard about 1 in 10 generations at this stage because the face doesn't hold — too much motion blur in the source photo, unflattering angle, lighting mismatch. Those get flagged and we reach out for a better photo rather than shipping something mediocre. Once the artist signs off, it goes to print on a museum-grade poly-cotton canvas with UV-protective matte coating, then hand-stretched over a 1.5-inch pine frame before it ships.
