AI fills hidden areas with a plausible reconstruction; it cannot recover what the camera never captured. Check faces, hands, railings and repeating patterns before sharing or printing. People overlapping your main subjects are harder to remove cleanly.
Choose a photo that gives the edit room to work
Use a clear image with the people you want to keep in the foreground. A little separation between them and the crowd helps. If you want to keep several people, describe the whole group rather than one person. No brush or manual selection is required.

Yes. You get up to 3 free edit attempts per day, shared across these two photo editing tools on your internet connection. Downloading a successful edit is free. The allowance resets at midnight UTC; attempts that fail may count.
Will it remove the person I want to keep?
The tool asks the AI to preserve the main foreground subjects. Use the optional description to say who should stay. Selection is automatic and can be imperfect, so compare the result with your original.
Does this remove the entire background?
No. It removes incidental people and reconstructs the scene around them. It does not create a transparent background or replace the location.
Can I remove people on my phone without an app?
Yes. Open this page in your mobile browser, choose a JPG, PNG or WebP photo, run the edit and save the PNG. Convert HEIC photos to JPG first. The edit can take up to 3 minutes.
