Frequently Asked Questions
Will it really be my truck?
Yes. The truck is made from your photo: the body and cab, the paint and two-tone, the grille, the chrome, the wheels, even the dents. You see it in the free preview before you order.
What if there is no photo of the truck?
Type its year, make, model and color in the box on the design page, for example “1968 pickup, two-tone blue and white”, and the preview shows that truck.
Can it be just the truck?
Yes. Upload only the truck photo and nobody is painted in. The watercolor keepsake and the hero shot were made for that.
Is it a real painting?
It is a new picture in the style of a painting, made from your photos of the truck and of the people in it, rather than a filter laid over one photo. You see it in the free preview before you order, then choose a canvas or a digital file.
Are you affiliated with a truck maker?
No. PortraitGift is not affiliated with any truck maker: the portrait is made from your own photo of your truck.
How much does a truck portrait cost?
The preview is free. You see the price of each format and size when you choose it, before you pay, and a digital file costs less than a canvas.
When should I order for Christmas?
Canvas prints take 6–8 business days to print plus 3–5 business days of tracked shipping in the US (5–12 elsewhere, depending on the country), so order a canvas by early December in the US, or by late November elsewhere. A digital file is emailed when you order.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. The preview is free, and you can ask for changes before anything is printed.
