Viking Women Portraits

Shieldmaiden designs

Shieldmaidens in armor with a shield, an axe or a sword; regal designs in a fur cloak, on a throne or in the mountains; scenes under the Northern Lights; and a shieldmaiden in a snowy forest at Yule. The armor, the furs and the setting are part of the design, so an ordinary photo is all you need.

A Viking gift for her at Christmas

For a wife, a girlfriend or a mom who loves Norse history and Viking stories: a portrait of her as a shieldmaiden, made from her own photo. For the holidays, the Yule designs go from a shieldmaiden in a snowy forest to couples by a longhouse hearth: see Viking Christmas portraits. More ideas: Christmas gifts for your wife, for your girlfriend and for Mom.

When to order for Christmas

Canvas prints are printed and stretched in 6–8 business days, then tracked shipping takes 3–5 business days in the US and 5–12 elsewhere, depending on the country, so order a canvas by early December in the US, or by late November elsewhere. A digital file is emailed when you order.

How it works

Pick a design, upload a clear, front-facing photo and see a free preview before you order. You can ask for changes before anything is printed. You see the price of each format and size when you choose it, before you pay: a digital file, or a canvas in several sizes.
