The 40 Year Anniversary Gift — A Custom Couple Portrait
What is the traditional 40-year anniversary gift?
The 40th wedding anniversary is traditionally the ruby anniversary. A custom portrait is a thoughtful modern twist on the tradition — it marks 40 years together with something deeply personal that lasts far longer than a conventional ruby gift.
Why a custom portrait is the perfect 40-year gift
After 40 years, the gift that lands hardest is one that captures the two of you. Upload a favourite photo of you both — your wedding day, a recent trip, anything you love — and we transform it into a hand-finished couple portrait in your favourite style: royal, renaissance, vintage Hollywood, watercolour, and more. It is printed on gallery-grade canvas, ready to hang where you will both see it every day.
How much does it cost & how does it work?
Custom anniversary portraits start at $35, with the price set by canvas size — shown up front on every design. Pick a couple design, upload a clear photo of the two of you, and our artist creates your portrait within moments; you see the preview instantly and free, then we print on museum-quality canvas and ship with tracking. A digital download is available instantly for last-minute gifting. Looking for more ideas? See all anniversary gifts or gifts for your wife or husband.
